In all honesty, this is one of my favorite self-portraits ever.
You were always concerned about time. Whether that be wasting it, wanting it back, or your pacing on the path to success/future.
Oh, and it's a timer from a darkroom. Nice.
Possibly past loves and nostalgia at your back. Cast out or still crawling in the back of your mind.
I don't need to say anything about the beer and cigarettes. Except, that I just did.
The lighting could have been a touch softer, but that doesn't detract much if anything.
This self-portrait is damn near perfect because it doesn't really matter if I know you or not.
