Both her and Caspian were raised North of Massilia; Caspian was taken in by the fishermen and sailors while the very young Aegean stayed within the seaside village. She found herself under the care of an elderly craftswoman who resided in the heart of the village. The craftswoman, known for her skill in weaving garments for her fellow villagers, became Aegean's caretaker. Growing up in the beautiful little home of the craftswoman, Aegean spent her days observing the woman's craft. Fascinated by the work, Aegean eagerly lent a helping hand whenever she possibly could. The village was her world; the craftswoman's home becoming a warm hearth to lay beside and find sanctuary in.

Eventually, the elderly craftswoman succumbed to her old age, leaving Aegean with the son of the craftswoman, who understood the bond that had formed between his mother and Aegean. Together, they went South to the city of Massilia, leaving behind the tight-knit village for the unpredictable streets of Massilia.

The son, now responsible for both his mother's legacy and Aegean's care, joined a small company of seamsters and tailors in the heart of the city--his mother had taught him the craft, and he had always wanted to test his luck outside of the village. Aegean was fascinated by it all and embraced her new life, she immersed herself in the world of sewing and tailoring by offering her assistance to their company in any way she could, just like she did back home to the craftswoman. She became a bit of a pet to the workers, often providing a supportive presence to them, but still made sure to be as helpful as possible

Under the guidance of the experienced artisans, Aegean began to learn the inner working of Massilia. As Aegean settled into this new life, she began to exit her comfort zone more and more. She learned to love everything around her, and strove to make connections with the felines around her, something she did by offering her creative services to them.
