The sandman itself is charming (my first thought was of all those lost-in-the-desert-with-nothing-to-do-scenes in movies and whatnot) but the dead trees in the background change the atmosphere. It becomes much more forlorn than cheerful or amusing.

I love the mix of ideas/feelings we get from it. Congrats on the DD, it's an awesome picture. ^_^
