It's been a while since Aureus appeared in my gallery! In case you're a newer watcher, I participated in the amazing original character tournament with him a couple of years back: canis-ferox.deviantart.com/gal… He's an inventor from the late 1800s who was taken from his time period. If you go back and read it, just know the whole thing was a learning experience haha! I remember I was trying to emulate Victorian scifi type styles (heavy inspiration from Jules Verne and H. G. Wells) and what I ended up with was very wordy and often oddly paced. Thankfully I did eventually do a little better on getting away from that while also still trying to keep the narrative voice fitting for a Victorian character. Eventually I'd like to print his story and bind it in a book just to have, but that'll be when I get myself to finish formatting it for printing haha.
I had a prequel story veeerry roughly outlined not long after the tournament ended, but haven't done anything more with it yet. Maybe someday!

Oh yeah and I never figured out 100% what his species' name was, which still kind of amazes me really xD Whatever it is it's related to jackals and originated in desert-like regions.
