Border Collie design adoptables!- These designs are for sale for PayPal only (bank transfer possible if you're Finnish).
Comment if you're looking to buy one and I'll note you the details.

After sending the payment and receiving a confirmation from me, the design is yours! You can do pretty much anything you want with it.
- I'll give you a separate full size picture of the design that you may use as you wish, as long as it isn't commercial.
- Name it, edit it, build a personality for it, use it for role playing, comics, what ever you can imagine.
- The designs are portrayed as Border Collies here, but you can change the breed or species if you wish.
- You don't have to credit me every time you use the design, but if someone asks, it would be nice if you mentioned where you got it.
- Please don't resell it for higher price unless it comes with additional art. Trading it or giving it away is okay.
- Put the design in use! Don't buy it just for sake of collecting, do something with it!

They're both very handsome! Is it a lot of work to have a border collie around? I've heard they're quite tricksy and require a lot of exercise.

I would very much recommend exercise. I learned that from my first BC. It keeps destructive chewing down, and overall they are much healthier and happier.
I walked my first BC quite a lot, and went to a local creek so she could run and climb, (she was an awsome climber) www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi…
But with my Catahoula www.pinterest.com/pin/37168777… I have since trained her to run next to my bike. She loves it, we can cover much more ground in less time.
I'm walking my BC pup now and he can easily walk a mile. When he gets older I'll start him with the slow bike.

I don't like overcharging people, I priced them the way I see fair. These were made using the same base after all. If I make adoptables that are one-of-a-kind and have accessories, they'll be a bit pricier then.

I understand, it's just odd because your art is so amazing and your designs are great! Most artists would sell them for much better. The quality is amazing. I'll eventually get a design from you someday ; v ; <3

I hate to be the person who butts in here, but I just wanted to make sure you were aware of how these kinds of comments make artists feel. $20 is actually very cheap for an adopt, especially one of this quality that has original artwork by the artist, whereas a lot of designs are sold on templates or other free-to-use lineart. Telling an artist that they're charging too much is essentially telling them that their artwork is not good enough or is not worth that amount of money. I've seen designs of similar quality (maybe a bit more finished/detailed) being sold for literally hundreds of dollars. If you feel that the price is too high for you or you have an issue with spending that amount of money, please refrain from leaving comments like this and simply move on. Telling an artist that they're charging too much is not going to make them change the price for you, so all you've done is make the artist feel bad and damaged their confidence in their skill.
I'm not trying to come across as rude; I'm not sure if you meant for your comment to sound that way, and if that wasn't your intention then that would be my mistake and I'll apologize for that. I just think it's very important for people (not just you) to understand how damaging their words can be to the self-esteem and confidence of an artist. Words are a powerful weapon, so please be cautious with how you use them. I'm only trying to look out for everyone's well-being here.

My comment was simply a reflection of how much I am willing to spend on a normal basis and I have never seen adopts similar to these for that much.

Then I would suggest maybe changing your wording so it's not as offensive to the artist? That might help a little. Maybe instead you can say something like "wow these are really cute, I love them! But unfortunately I can't afford them at this time. I hope they find good homes!"
see how that is much much more positive and encouraging instead of hurtful? Just because you haven't personally seen adopts for this price doesn't mean that they're not common. Most adopts I've seen are around $20 or more, it just depends on the artist and how much time and effort they put into them. For a lot of people, their art sales are a big source of income for them and they need to charge what they feel is appropriate. It's not up to us to decide whether or not that's too much

Well, the price range in dA seems to be pretty broad, some adopts sell for a couple of points, some go for hundreds of dollars. These aren't spectacular but I did make them with care.
