This is beautiful! Just amazing ;o; Made me rather sad, though. I felt like the character was looking for something... and hasn't found it yet Good luck to the both of you! <3

History-themed drawings are always so inspiring to me! It doesn't matter what it is or what era or where, I love them all! And this drawing!

Voi miten kaunis! Kivan simppeli ja visuaalinen, ei mitÀÀn turhaa. Ruutu jossa hiekka peittÀÀ osan taivaasta on mahtava, hieno tunnelma. Tulee muuten vÀhÀn mieleen elokuva Egyptin prinssi (se piirretty)!

Ghoul, first I have to say
the colors, dash and style you always excels.
are beautiful.
Now, for diagramming and comic in general (in which this study deeply), I believe you could have:
1) have played more with the frames and the spaces between frames to best tell the story.
-and even have left a picture leaked ...
and give more dynamics and movement to the scene.
this .. very static.
way you drew "posters" in frames. not a comic

goodcomics.comicbookresources.β¦ << this is very intersting page

bloody-disgusting.com/photosizβ¦
okay...Β okay, now I got excited.
love to talk about comics and explain about too.

I'm glad you think so!
I think this turned out exactly as I wanted. Maybe for a longer/more story-heavy comic more frame play could have been necessary, but this is a short, silent comic and I wanted it to look quiet and slow-phased.
Thanks for your critique anyway!

(thought you'd still put the dialogues in the tables)
But if that's what you thought from the beginning, that's fine dearling!

I went and looked at all the links you posted--they all have some things in common.
-dialogue
-communicating the subject manner overtly
-representing very small, directly sequential moments of time.
I admire and celebrate your love of comics, but maybe there are different types of comics that you are unaware of at this moment.

Well, I have to disagree.Β There are many ways of telling a story or portraying passage of time with art.Β I saw this art work, and understood it.Β Especially there is movement in this comic.Β There is wind, dissolving of architecture, quiet walking.Β I can almost hear the sounds in my mind of pawsteps in the soft sand.

Oh my this is great! I love how calm the character is throughout the whole piece, as if this is something the poor character goes through so often, it's presented so wonderfully and your ideas always astound me

Love the concept here, great mini comic!
It reminds me of Fry's dog from Futurama, especially the title "Once in a Thousand Years", such a sad episode D:
Awesome work
