I have my headcanon all worked out too. Either i) Edgeworth's totally got Vulcan blood in his lineage--relatively diluted, that's why his ears are rounded or ii) they're somehow reincarnations of each other (with the Vulcan katra stuff--it all makes sense!!). And of course, Phoenix = Kirk. LALALALALALALALA.
