Description
Got the idea in an AYCE sushi place and drew it on a napkin. Then I just couldn't resist making a proper version of it.Because the traditional Terran representation of a heart is anatomically incorrect and illogical.
One day, I'll print it onto a T-shirt and wear it around.

Er, connective tissue? I dunno! Blame mah anatomy teacher! DX I think it's more like, since it's a major part of the system, it's just grouped together...but it is sorta part of it, the valve is between the aorta and the...er...left ventricle, I think? Soooo, it's part of it, I mean, it's fairly well intigrated into the heart...GAH! HUMAN BODY SYSTEM, WHY ART THOU SO CONFUSING?!?!?

It's part of the circulatory system yes. But since aorta isn't the muscular part doing the pumping, I wouldn't classify it as part of the heart. 8D It's more of an extension off it, branching into major arteries.

Wait, but I'm not saying the Aorta, persay, but the VALVE, they have the same name (save the valve part) but isn't it actually on the heart, and the aortal artery connects to it? The artery is the branch, while the valve is one of four connected to it? I...can't remember the other three, but it's...one of them starts with a V...maybe...RAH! I has solution!...Google (I'm actually really enjoying this, brings me back to the good ol days of freaking out about the real bones in the class and tossing around bits of paper)

The aortic valve is what regulates the blood flow from the heart into the aorta. If you want to consider that part of the heart, sure? But remember, the statement that I was refute at the very beginning had nothing to do with the valve, but aorta itself. 8D
(Also, artery =/= aorta. So I'm bit confused about what you're trying to say at the end there.)
