Another illustration for the ingame event of "Empire: Peripheral Wars" project.
I tend to use 3d more intensely with every new work. This time I made material and lighting decisions in early stages before jumping to overpainting in Photoshop (unlike the previous "Intelligence Grow" thing).
I guess it's the perfect approach to making such scenes with lot of perspective and many light sources in terms of the time and quality. Also it's a great fun to concentrate on the design mostly.
Overal it was a very fun process. It took more time than I expect, but less than other similar works. And surely there is a lot of room to grow.
