"Ah where is the tack box!? Do I have the right tack? Is everything but Midnight in the trailer? DO I need her shipping stuff?! Uggh" Cora was rushing around the stable trying to grab everything she needed for the Talvak Spring Meet Event before finally loading the trailer and heading out. "Alright so folding tack stand, saddle, bridle, ribbons, all her boots, rubber bands for braiding, what am I missing?" Cora keep going over her check list as she slipped Midnight's padded halter on and tossed the lead rope over her withers. "The dressage and western tack how could I be so forgetful! That means I need to grab the other two folding stands and then pop up tent, I will need that for sure." Cora rushed out of Midnight's stall to grab the other stand and the tent. Midnight poked her head out of the stall and let out a soft call. Cora spun around and grab the lead rope quickly unlocking her stall and leading her out to the trailer, quickly loading up the temp paddock fences and the other two tack sets she was ready to leave finally.

Upon arrival at the event Cora set up Midnight's temp paddock and started unloading the tack sets and setting up everything in the small popup tent. "Alright now I can breathe and go register for classes!" Happily Cora unloading Midnight and placed her in the paddock as she walked to the event table, after she returns she begins to polish Midnight's white show bridle before exchanging it for her halter. "There you go girl nice and shiny and beautiful just like you." She spoke softly to the mare giving her a few pats on the neck.

"Hello and welcome to the 2k18 Spring Meet Event! We just wanted to remind all the newly arrived riders that manes MUST be braided for all classes if they are long, it is up to you if you'd like to braid the tails or not, again this is just a reminder, classes will start within the hour, make sure everyone is registered and ready for this amazing event!"

Cora looked over to Midnight's mane and sighed. "Well I guess I need to get to brushing .... " About 45 long, fouled mouth filled minutes later Midnight's mane was tamed and in a lovely running braid with a shiny black bead topping it all off. "To bad I didn't have time to braid in a few ribbons, maybe I can do that between one of the classes!" Leading Midnight to the large sandy arena Cora looked around to the other lovely Talvak mares prancing about. "We got this girl! Let's show them what you got!" She gave Midnight another pat on the neck as they stood silently awaiting the judges commands. "Please bring all Mares to a walk." clicking her tongue she began to lead the black mare around the arena, after a few minutes the judges asked everyone to line up in the center on the arena and did their walk around. "Alright girl they grade you and after the whole event they will give out the class ribbons! I can't wait to see if you won!"

So I updated the story, I was super unhappy with it! I can't believe I even posted it. D: I like this one A LOT better. ^^
