and I think your great feedback is also a strong evidence that there should be more games like Okami. One day, someone will come to revolutionize the world of games. hope dies last!

I've never actually played Okami, so I have no clue where the setting in this is, but it remind me a lot of Princess Mononoke!

you are on the right way, okami is also a heroic story like mononoke. ^^ the particular thing is that it's a very creative game, which makes yourself feel creative. the gist of this game is that you are able to draw in game proceeding with a brush. you slip into the role of this wolf at the picture and you embellish the world with your brush-technics and all is controled by the player - thats kind of magic and quite unique in the history of videogames. <3

thanks for your interest on my working process! hmm, yeah, I don't know.. it's always difficult to answer this kind of questions, because it's always hard for another people to imagine and it's also hard for me to emphasize with this people, or to be more precise, with you in this way.. but I can say that it's sometimes more difficult to simplify a style than detailed elaborate a style. you have to pay more attention on these few things which accentuate the picture, and these few things are the eyecatcher and they have to work harmonic in the picture, and thats often a challenge ^^

This was truelly one of the best games I had ever played... I seriously hope the Clover guys can make a new part (not counting okamiden), maybe at a different company who has the license for the brand... I miss originality in games these days...
