Huepoe: King Huepoe is Cassidy's favorite target for all of her heists. Not only is he the head of the richest family in Last Notch, but Huepoe always being in the public eye always makes her victories all that much sweeter. Cassidy's most famous heist was when she stole one of his hats straight off of his head during his inauguration speech. With the help of getting on Huepoe's bad side, Cassidy is now one of the most wanted criminals in Last Notch.

Cassidy is very well versed in magic, potentially due to the life she previously lived. Cassidy is notorious as a thief because of the abilities she uses in her robberies. Most commonly, Cassidy uses wind magic to keep silent, and light magic to move objects within reach. When in a pinch, Cassidy will release a sleeping gas, that she can avoid ingesting herself by using wind magic.

Cassidy's past before she became a thief is clouded. Many residents of Last Notch have their own theories. Some say that Cassidy came from a rich family that were training her to become a lantern, others say that she was born in the streets, picking up magic from a wayward traveler. Cassidy loves the mystery, and spreads her own rumors about herself.

Cassidy's career began with the robbery of a large rattle cow hide. The hide was coated in rattles, which was notorious for making loud clanking sounds. For a novice thief, being able to silence a whole hide of rattles was impressive, giving her the nickname "The Rattleback Kid". Her nickname stuck, and after over ten years of crime, she still goes by that alias. No one, besides other thieves in her troupe, knows that her first name is Cassidy.

After ten years of being a thief, Cassidy has accumulated more material possessions than she could ever possibly need. Like a pack rat, she places them around her hideout with little regard to their value. Priceless paintings can be seen strewn across the floor, while her own wanted poster will be framed against the wall. Cassidy now leads a small band of thieves, only recruiting those that she deems worthy, often breaking them out of prison. Once Cassidy has set their eyes on a new recruit, they’ll go conpletely out of their way to hire them, regardless of the wyngro’s current feelings about a life of crime.

Cassidy is free to roam the streets without a disguise. Thanks to her stealthy nature, the only physical description about her is that she has three horns and a smaller frame. During the day, Cassidy runs a small bakery that serves as her fence, and beneath the bakery lies her hideout.

PERSONALITY

Cassidy is very confident and assertive. She knows what she wants and she won't let anyone get in her way. Cassidy lives for danger, and will often choose the most dangerous heist for the smallest payoff just for the challenge. Despite being a thief, Cassidy boasts a loud, commanding voice when talking with her teammates. Cassidy will often challenge her troupe members to dares or competitions, and is always seeking entertainment. However, when preforming a heist, Cassidy wears a completely different mask. She is focused, calm, and a perfectionist. She never lets a single detail slip her grasp. She may have an inflated ego, but she is well aware her whole empire could come crashing down with a single mistake.

Cassidy is known for their charisma, luring wyngro in with her honeyed words and promise of riches. She’ll interact with wyngro in a flirtatious manner, complementing their looks. Cassidy rarely acts on her flirtations, however, and enjoys it for the sake of getting a reaction out of the target. The more uncomfortable and out of place a wyngro looks, the more likely they’ll be the victim of her harassment.

Cassidy has a thing for coatalas, and many of her heists have been interrupted because she found a cute coatala to play with. Like a child, Cassidy always brings home new coatalas to her hideout (some of them being strays, others belonging to owners she didn't deem worthy) and many of her troop members have protested to this behavior. Her favorite coatala, an old man named Foxtrot, completes her evil villain look. Regardless of who enter the room, Foxtrot will give them a nasty look until they leave.
