Description
As they approach a door leading to an elevator Christine motions to Rhodane, points at the door uneasily, then makes a pulling motion with her hand. She seems hesitant to go near it. Rhodane checks the nearby maintenance terminal. It's locked and her hacking skill isn't good enough.
Rhodane "I need you to go down to the manual bypass room to regulate the power."
Christine glances at the elevator, her expression becomes worried, then she looks back at Rhodane, then reluctantly shakes her head.
Rhodane "All right, let me see if I can find another way to do this without sending you down there."
Christine smiles slightly in relief, and nods. She opens her mouth slightly, then closes it, frustrated. She points at Rhodane, then makes a fist and puts it against her chest and nods.
Rhodane searches the area more thoroughly and finds the password in a locker.
Rhodane "I've found a way to do the bypass from here. You should be able to just use the terminal over there."
Christine nods gratefully. She glances in the direction of the terminal, looks at Rhodane, smiles, gives a thumbs up.
Rhodane "Are you going to be okay here?"
She nods... then gestures at Rhodane's hand, offers hers. Rhodane takes her hand. She holds it, meeting your eyes intently for a few moments. She gives Rhodane's hand a gentle squeeze, then releases it and smiles slightly.
Rhodane "I'll be back for you, okay?"
Christine tilts her head slightly, glances at Rhodane's collar, then your Pip-Boy. She opens her mouth, frowns, then closes it. Her face looks sad, and she taps her chest once, slowly. She nods at Rhodane, then the exit.
Rhodane "I mean it. Stay alive until I get back."
She narrows her eyes, determined, and gives a last nod.
