Well, our own loveable Earthbound Bender likely carries whatever currency is used in the year 3000 and onward. Probably something with Nixon or Al Gore's Head on it.
And as you can see here, three shiny gold dabloonbots have been heisted from Pyrate Bender.
And if you look far enough back in my gallery, you'll find Pyrate Labarbara Conrad posing with a shipment of suspicious green contraband. Couldn't say if that's currency or awaiting currency. I saw Guenter's sword and took off before I could ask.
Maybe I'll address the currency issue in more detail in a future deviation...

Arrr! Me fav Bender episode was when Nixon took all the robots to a planet to party. When Bender was trying to pump up a beer keg it came to life! IT WAS A ROBOT who said, "Don't...stop!"
