Description
A very belated birthday present to a friend, who loves Griffith. I took heavy inspiration from various paintings depicting the Flagellation of Christ, since Griffith is a reverse-Jesus. An antichrist, if you will. My idea of this painting is that perhaps a professional artist was commissioned post-New World to depict a painting of Griffith being captured by the King after leaving Princess Charlotte's chambers. It doesn't one-for-one fit any one panel because it's an artist just trying to imagine what it would have been like.
