Description Applying Crossfusion to one of my favorite Navis (Colonel.EXE) with the power of another favorite (ElementMan.EXE). However, for the sake of drawing, I chose to use my own arrangement of eight elements instead of ElementMan's more traditional five. The eight elements here are generally based on how the solar system's other planets are named in Chinese. The closest five to us are named after Wu Xing attributes (Mercury Water, Venus Metal, Mars Fire, Jupiter Wood, Saturn Earth) while the remaining planets (including Pluto) are named after Greek Gods still (Uranus Sky, Neptune Ocean, Pluto Death). However, since we already have Water for Mercury, I decided to entertain a "Dragon" attribute in lieu of Neptune's "Ocean" (there's a story behind that but I don't want to drag this).

Anyways, ElementCross Colonel can switch elements using Buster+Back command. If I were using ElementMan's canon five, it would just be in his order (Neutral, Wood, Fire, Elec, Aqua, rinse and repeat). However, since I have as many as eight, I want his element swap to be RNG. The Wu Xing elements (again: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water) will all be the likelier ones to land on. Sky will have a rarer chance, but not as rare as Dragon or Death. The different elemental modes mainly differ by the kind of Charged Shot Colonel will output, the attacks his soldiers will use when they appear out of obstacles, and of course sprite color. Stuff like panel effects and weaknesses still apply where you'd expect.

1. Metal (Grey/silver)
Colonel will always start with this one as soon as ElementCross is online. He can charge up a Screen Divide that Breaks guards while briefly making him invincible. His obstacle troopers will attack with a one-panel hammer attack that's also Break type of course.

2. Wood (Green)
His Charged Shot is just a Wood type Screen Divide, but the quickest to build up. His soldiers can throw seeds that inflict Confusion.

3. Water (Blue)
Screen Divide will create Sea Panels below struck enemies to briefly slow them down. Soldiers use Aqua Swords, long or wide.

4. Fire (Red)
Fire type Screen Divide that can last on stage for a hot second; soldiers that attack using flamethrowers (i.e. Fire Burn).

Ok, for those tired of seeing "Screen Divide" variants (which I'd also use if this was ElementMan's canon five instead), the next half will all have more unique Charged Shots.

5. Earth (Black with maroon tints, sorry it's hidden)
Colonel will charge up the same panel-shattering slash that the Bladia viruses from BN5 are capable of, but it will briefly lag him from moving when unleashed. Any soldiers summoned will merely unearth a Panel with Crack Out instead of trying to damage enemies.

6. Sky (Cyan)
Charged shot will unleash up to three lightning bolts from above, directly targeting enemies from any distance. But while that's an Elec type attack, the soldiers will stick to tornadoes (i.e. Wind).

7. Dragon (Orange)
Colonel will charge up and turn his sword into a dragon that launches forward before turning around to attack either other enemies or the same one at least once more. Likewise, instead of soldiers, energy dragons will also appear from Obstacles and attack in the same trajectory as the elemental dragon chips from BN6. In both cases, the attacks can pierce both Guard and Invis.

8. Death (Purple)
Charged attack takes after a Cross Divide this time, which can either instant-kill a virus or inflict an HP Bug on an enemy Navi. It can pierce Invis, but not Guards, though a guarded Navi will still suffer an HP Bug even without taking attack damage. This Charged attack will also create a poison swamp below Colonel as a second edge. Lastly, instead of soldiers coming out, all obstacles will possess the same curse as a V-Doll, dimming screens and damaging enemies when struck. (Although, you'll still see ghost troopers appear when the screen is dimmed.)

Finally, before I forget, ElementCross Colonel also has AirShoes and FloatShoes equipped so no worries about Panel adversities.
