Okay that PROBABLY means that your depression is caused chemically or genetically. You're going to have to explain it to your parents, because no matter how much I help a trained psychologist and/or medication will outdo me.
When you do tell your parents make sure that you keep eye contact. Use a strong voice that denies any thought of suicide. Explain to them that depression is not weakness, it is sickness. You have a good life, right? Tell them that you are aware that your life is good and you have no plans of leaving the world. Most importantly is the fact that you DO need help, depression is easily treated.
