Description
Now this is a funky creature, though in my character lore the design has been repeated through generations of semi-beginner biocreaters, learning scientists that want to tackle the field of growing organic organisms. Which if you guys don't know is something widespread and super advanced and the reason why such funky creatures exist in my character world. Basically, these are man-made species that serve the purpose of teaching others by having a blueprint and stuff on how to make it. Because their only purpose is being the stepping stones for young scientists, they have very short lifespans (about a little less than one year), can't reproduce and don't take up a lot of resources, like nutrition. After they are created, they're basically discarded or forced to do jobs in the laboratories that no one else wants to do.
This one in the picture is called Enzyne and she s one of the ones that does sucky jobs for her lab, though she doesn't mind because she doesn't know life outside of the building and is lied to about her importance to the scientists; which in reality keep her around for laughs and to have someone to pick on. She loyally follows any rules given to her (which is often abused by the scientists who enjoy giving her ridiculous and unnecessary rules) and is proud to be a part of the lab. However, eventually the scientists grew increasingly annoyed as over a year had past and she didn't seem to be kicking the bucket, so after an exam of her they discovered that she had a mutation that gave her a longer lifespan, which was irritating and inconvenient to them. So they threw her on the curb, not wanting to deal with with he anymore, and heartbroken she was forced to adjust to her new life and eventually learn about how differently things were outside and how she was actually abused back in her old life.
