New music, new Thor film, means new inspiration for Sigyn and Loki.
I tried to fill this picture with symbolism, wanted a sort of angel/devil play-off, since the lyrics of the song gave me the idea. She is warm tones while he is dark. She has the wings (I always imagine Sigyn as a valkyrie), while he has the horns of a snake both on his head and in the spurs of his boots. Her weapon is the bow and arrow - shooting from afar - while his is the dagger - and the dagger is pointed towards his own chest, as his behaviour is self-destructive. The WIP in my scraps shows off the details of his costume better, as I tried to draw the folds of his sleeve that I liked in Thor 2.
I wanted them to cross over into each other's space, like Yin and Yang, and also give the impression that they were floating. His hand is forming a magical symbol (as anyone who has seen the snake-conjuring deleted scene will know), while she is reaching out for him, and looking at him, in concern, though not quite touching
