Leonardo sighed as his hyper baby brother tugged him along. Mikey had convinced him, Donnie had stayed home, to leave the house. During the day. Leo hadn't really even seen daytime in like a year since he lived an all most completely nocturnal life. Hunting vampires and all. He was shaken out of thought as his brother tugged him almost pulling them over. " Come on Mister, lighten up. It's just the sun. You're not going to burst into flame."

Leo huffed and rolled his eyes, not bothering to answer. Mikey almost growled, glaring at his brother, " seriously dude, you need to relax. It's a beautiful day."

" Exactly, a beautiful, DAY. It's too bright, too open, and too crowded." Leo complained dodging a group of school kids.

Mikey rolled his eyes, but his face brightened up with an idea. Turning to his older brother he excitedly said, " I know we can get some ice-cream cone. That will brighten your mood."

Leo shrugged, " fine."

Mikey grinned and began to drag Leo through the streets of New York. They stopped outside of a bright pink and white building, a large ice cream shaped sign over the door. Leo took one glance at the absurdly colored building and said," I'm not stepping foot in there."

Mikey groaned but one look at Leo's unmasked, grimacing face he decided to let it go. Not having a mask on made Leo look a lot younger than 18, and gave an advantage in getting what he wanted. " Fine, you stay out here and I'll go in and get us some ice-cream. "

Leo nodded, and Mikey took off into the store. Leo leaned against the wall arms crossed, and head leaned back against the building. He lazily watched as the city continued to buzz with life, people going back and forth. Leo's calm was interrupted when he heard a familiar laugh. Its day what is he doing out.

Leo pushed off the wall and followed the sound to an alley at the side of the ice-cream shop. He peeked around the corner and caught sight of a very familiar, emerald turtle. Leo was shocked to see Raphael out during the day, the vampire was in danger of burning in the sun. Leo took note that the whole alley was cloaked in shadow, the only light coming from a single small lamp. At the end of the alley, there was a small park consisting of a merry-go-round, a slide, and a pair of swings. Raph was there, spinning the merry-go-round too fast for him to make a definite shape, but Leo was positive there was someone on it. The unknown figure was laughing and shrieking, " faster! Faster! Faster!"

Raph laughed and spun the merry-go-round faster, " Are you sure, Yoyo?"

The child, which is who Leo guessed was on the spinning ride giggled and shouted back gleefully," Yes Papa, faster! Faster!"

Leo froze. Papa? Raph is a father? Leo was pulled away from his thoughts as Mikey came out of the shop shouting his name. Leonardo spun around and answered, " hi, Mike."
" DUDE! You can't sneak up on me like that!" Mikey exclaimed jumping up and almost dropping the ice-cream.

Leo smirked taking his ice-cream from his brother," You want to go to the park?"

Mikey's face broke into a grin, " sure!"

Leo smiled at his brother as they changed direction and headed toward Central Park, chatting up a storm, the whole way there.
