Description

Chris Redfield has gone through hard life more than everyone knew about. Orphaned since childhood, Chris decided to take care of his younger sister, Claire Redfield, so that she could have a better life. While funding for her college, Chris Redfield once joined the United States Army, but as time flies, he was reported that he had a problem with his senior officers, and as a sign of protest, he decided to left his duty on the US Army. He would eventually invited by Barry Burton to join STARS, and since then, Chris started realizing about the whole conspiracy that was made by Umbrella Corporation and surprisingly, Albert Wesker, whom Chris actually trusted as the Captain of Alpha Team, and it all happened during the Arklay Mountains Incident.

The situation became worse when Raccoon City Outbreak happened, as Chris, alongside Barry and Peyton Wells decided to lead the remaining members of STARS against zombies. As Raccoon City was destroyed by Umbrella, Chris himself survived the Raccoon City Destruction, yet lost contact with Jill Valentine, Barry, and eventually, Claire Redfield.

At some point of time, Chris joined the US Army again, especially when the situation worsened in Los Angeles. In his new duty, Chris discovered that Albert Wesker was somehow still alive, leading Umbrella into a whole new path.

Chris would eventually reunited with Claire Redfield thanks to Alice, and together, they decided to defeat Albert Wesker inside Arcadia. They thought Wesker was dead due to the explosion he encountered inside the Helicopter, but as the Umbrella Army assaulted Arcadia, they captured Claire and Chris separately, and once again, Chris was separated from Claire.

Following his capture in Arcadia, Chris Redfield was supposed to be transported into the Hive. Beside him inside the helicopter, there were plenty of US Army soldiers who was actually part of Chris' team. Chris had a new plan : while one of his allies tried to distract the helicopter's pilot while departed for the Hive, Chris killed the pilot, and eventually hijacked and flew the helicopter by himself. Chris eventually form a militia against Umbrella, while still searching for Claire as he heard a news that Claire, too, was sent into Hive, but finally break free, and there's no further news about her.

That all changed, however, when Chris was shocked about Wesker's survival, and Wesker killed some of his allies : Leon S. Kennedy, Ada Wong, and last but not least, Chris' long time friend and lover, Jill Valentine, inside the White House. This brutally blunt decision motivated Chris Redfield that while searching for Claire and Alice, he has sworn to himself to destroy Umbrella, and now...Albert Wesker must PAY. And for this reason, Albert's precious Umbrella Corporation will be paid in a cold blooded revenge.

Somehow, Chris Redfield realized that his story might come to an end, especially after he was reunited again with Claire Redfield in Raccoon City...

Alternate Title : In which Resident Evil : Final Chapter looks so ridiculous that the movie killed off Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, and Ada Wong off-screen, thanks to RE : Retribution movie ending.

Yup, this is the last line of my RE movies reimagined version of Chris Redfield, this time, if Chris actually appeared in the Final Chapter. To be honest, everyone knew that the Final Chapter has to be the worst Paul W.S. Anderson Resident Evil movie to be made. And I am not gonna elaborate any further for this.

I know, I know. Wentworth Miller, the actor who played as Chris Redfield in RE : Afterlife movie, wasn't able to be in the Final Chapter because of his project as Captain Cold in The Flash and The Legends of Tomorrow series (in which the former is absolutely my favourite). But actually, I've got a clue that in the novelization of RE : Final Chapter, Claire and Chris was separated during Umbrella's assault on Arcadia, and until at least the event of the movie happened, Claire still had no idea where was Chris out there. What if I told you, that Chris was still alive, decided to escape from the Hive, and started a new rebellion against Umbrella? Maybe, consider there's actually a jeep that bears striking resemblance to the one that we see in Resident Evil 5, when Alice fought against Kipepeo, and the jeep even has a BSAA sign on it! Either it's just an easter egg or not, I am pretty sure those jeep belongs to someone, and who else but Chris Redfield?

This time, I gave Chris Redfield a look that was the mixture between Resident Evil 6 China Chris, Resident Evil : Revelations winter Chris suit, and also Mercenaries 3D Pilot Chris looks. The knife that you also see here was also taken from the alternate concept art of Chris Redfield from RE6 art book, in which, it didn't make it into the final render.

The reason why I choose this kind of design is rather quite symbolic: ever since Claire's attire from the Final Chapter was taken from her RE : Revelations 2 counterpart (which was her most recent look during the time when the movie released), it would be quite make sense if I took the most recent designs of Chris from RE6 for this one, because we all know that Bloodshot and Javo (or J'avo to be precise) who were originated from RE6, also appeared in the Final Chapter!

Maybe I am gonna continue my reimagining and reinventing of Paul W.S. Anderson Resident Evil movie characters one day.
