Forcing Katara to use Blood Bending.
So in honor of the episode, I drew a picture of Hamma as an ACTUAL Puppetmaster, and Katara as her puppet.
Yeah, this was my favorite episode EVAH. So I had to post something as quickly as possible.
I'll be inking and coloring it, later. =3

It may sound weird, but I hope katara learns to use bloodbending more often. But I'm the kind of weirdo who thinks there is no such thing as evil power, merely evil use of power.

I kinda agree with you.
Bloodbending could be a great advantage when they fight stronger enemies, so Katara should try and utilize that power, even though it is a little... creepy. xD

If you can bend the blood inside a person, won't you give them SERIOUS circulatory problems? Blood flowing in the opposite direction can be DEADLY. Like, cardiac arrest kind of deadly. Also, if you can move the blood inside a person, can't you also make the blood come ou- OKAY, I'm done talking.

I felt so vindicated by this episode. All through the first and second seasons I kept wondering why, in a world where the Fire Nation is committing such atrocities as trying to wipe out the other nations none of the residents of said nations took a turn for the darker side of their bending arts, especially with water. I thought maybe Jong-Jong (sp) might point it out to Katara when he told her about healing, or the other benders of the Northern Water Tribe, but no. And then Hama shows up and reminds us all that humans are really nothing more than "ugly sacks of dirty water." Frankly I'm amazed no airbenders have ever been guilty of yanking the oxygen from Firebender lungs.
This is a great picture commemorating a wonderful episode. Now Katara is going to be plagued with the fact that she does have this obviously useful skill that ultimately violates everything she believes in.

You're right. Every culture (or in this case "nation") has a dark side, and I'm glad that Avatar doesn't make light of that fact.
