I am so proud of this, it took me ages, i found (through practice) that i am better at doing small charcoal pics, instead of full a4 i just use about half the page and they turn out better,this is Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer and guitarist of my fave band Green Day (well duh!)
the lyrics are from their song 'Jesus of suberbia'
i hope you like this, i love the hair...it was so fun to do
and i apolagise for not drawing his tatoo's, i didn't want to ruin it and so turned into a lily livered chicken!
decided to put a request for critiques, cos it's my fave artwork i've ever done, so I want to see if there's anything people think I could improve on

I loved the lines of the song , the emotion on its face , really captured billie joe ! cuz he uses his face expression and you knew how to draw it , and hee looks like he's really singing !

thankypu so very uchly! glad you like it, the detail kinda killed my eye tho...and my hand (suffered hand cramp for an hour after lol)
if you don't like the mess you should try charcoal pencils! you don't get black everywhere, only if you want to smudge in some shades then only that finger gets black (unless ur and idiot like me and put that said smudging finger on ur face, nose, hand and get black everywhere anayway)

I did try charcoal pencils at one point, but when I use 'em they make strange scratchy noises that hurt my ears. *I have EXTREMELY sensitive hearing* So yeah. Now charcoal scares me. o_o xDD

But, ya know, when you draw bigger drawings, you can catch more details. I know it's more difficult, but practice makes perfect (but nobody's perfect, so why practice- as Billie said ^^)

thanks, i know u get more detail, but i'm pretty happy with the detail i got into these size pics, and i find them more fun to do, so i may just stick to them for a bit
