This is for the Megaman: Intentions project, of which I am the Concept Art Sub-Director. I'll be putting most of my concept work for that in Scraps, since they really don't count as authentic deviations.

Anyway, this is for a character named Trance. She uses four cannons, can fire each one individually, use them all to charge a super-shot split-boom style, and even use them in their "at rest" setup for flight.

The difficulties I had designing her lay in the cannons: Machina very clearly asked for four, but I wasn't sure how to do 'em. At first I was thinking of having two on each shoulder, but when I thought about it, it seemed like 1.) they would be way too heavy, even for a Reploid, and 2.) they would generate so much heat as to cause damage to the Reploid's head and shoulders. So I set them up on ball-turrets and had two on her shoulders and two under her arms. She'll have to hold her arms awkwardly to properly aim and fire them, but that's a small price to pay.

More should follow shortly that focus more on her armor and face.
