Description
One of my favorite things about computing in the 1990s was the color-correcting feature that appeared when an image was encoded with 8-bit compression. I recently discovered this effect could be reproduced in PhotoPaint. I was very happy.

As for the image itself: The vehicle at center is, of course, the iconic VW Microbus. The vehicle behind it is, curiously enough, a very early Toyota (although the Toyota logo is not visible in this picture). Sort of a spectrum-slice of recent history, really.
