Uh... here's my entry. O_O
Though Barber Pole would have loved nothing more than to play as a defender, deploy a couple of mediocre traps around the base, and then relax, his fellow Fantastic Fantastic Treemates thrust Barber Pole onto the battlefield to retrieve an enemy team’s flag.
His target? None other than Team Amazing Arcade Tickets.
Barber Pole’s objective was to infiltrate the enemy base, while avoiding any traps set, obtain the opposing team’s flag, and return back to his home base, where his teammates would have hopefully prepared a celebration for his valor. Easy peasy, right?
Panel 1:
In the time he was given to prepare, Barber Pole scavenged some resources from the surrounding area and the conveniently-located junk piles that he required for his elaborate scheme. First of all, Barber Pole took the inflatable raft from the footrace challenge. With a few minor modifications, this would serve as a vehicle to cross the lake. The individual cardboard squares were stripped from the sides of the raft and were substituted with large cardboard sheets that covered the entirety of the raft, save for an opening in the back. The purpose of these sheets would be to conceal the passengers inside from view. A leaf blower would be inserted into the rear opening, with the nozzle tilted into the water. This would allow the raft and any passengers in it to effortlessly cross the lake in little time.
Panel 2:
With these preparations complete, their makeshift motorboat was activated, and it set off on its journey across the lake. A radio inside of it blared music fit for a journey like this.
Panel 3:
After some time, the raft arrived at the shore near the front of the enemy team’s base. Alerted by the loud music, this led the Amazing Arcade Tickets to believe they were being attacked head-on by enemy forces! A few of their defenders, let’s say Bell Pepper and Soda, were sent over to the raft to investigate it by their glorious leader, Milkshake.
Panel 4:
With a slash of his mighty spear, Bell Pepper took down cardboard barriers. Lurking within the vehicle was...
… no one.
Panel 5:
This vehicle was merely a distraction! Way up high above them, Barber Pole, who was dangling to Drone by some rope, flew across the lake towards Team AAT’s base. Barber Pole prepared to siege the opposing team’s base. In his hands were a collection of gadgets and gizmos that would aid his attack:
- smoke bombs
- a few glow sticks
- a strong magnet attached to a jump rope
Panel 6:
Once Barber Pole was about fifteen feet above the enemy team’s flag, Barber Pole dropped a few glow sticks within a few inches of the flagpole’s base, unnoticed. With the enemy team’s attention focused on the decoy vehicle momentarily, this would be relatively easy.
Panel 7:
Afterwards, Barber Pole scattered the smoke bombs around their base, mainly near the flagpole.
Panel 8: The entirety of the Team AAT’s base was flooded with smoke, hindering the vision of the defenders. Though it seems excessive to do this, this strategy would ensure that Barber Pole could safely retrieve their flag and escape with it, preventing them from thwarting Barber Pole’s master heist.
Panel 9: How would Barber Pole retrieve the flag, you may ask? With the glowsticks that he had scattered near the flagpole, Barber Pole lowered the jump rope with its magnet near the flagpole. Since the flagpole was metal, the magnet was able to connect to the metal pole. With the flag now in their possession, all Barber Pole had to do was signal to Drone that it was time to skedaddle. Off they went! Once the smoke dispersed at the enemy team’s base, they would discover that their flag was gone, and safely in the premises of Team Fantastic Family Trees’ base.
