But, how did you get the colors so fluid and blended?

that's just how copic markers always look...

and the watercolour is kind of special. They are called "Colorex" and they are more like ink, but you use them like normal watercolours.

the only good tutorial I found for these colours is in german... But here's the link if you want to have a look.

I try using copic markers, and they don't always work like that. Probably because I don't know how to use it.

hm...  
I usually start with the lighter colour, then add the dark colour for shadow and then use the lighter marker from before to draw over the whole thing again...

then the colours should blend.
