Description
Commission completed January 2014. Mechanical pencils 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.7mm HB and 2B. Lots of cotton wool, tortillions and several rubbers. Was drawn on A3 heavy-weight cartridge paper, with the finished drawing measuring 13"x9" for an internal mount (16"x12" frame). 12-13 hours hours over the course of a week.

This was really challenging as I haven't drawn a fully white dog before, so its the first time I have done something other than a plain white background to allow for white edges to be seen. Whilst initially looking at the photo before I started, I quickly found that there is very little white in it, just lots of shades of grey!
