Nyani happened upon a gorgeous runeboo outside. The runeboo was alone, scared, and looked malnourished. Nyani took it in, nursing it back to health. A few days passed, but the runeboo failed to show many signs of much recovery. Nyani had been feeding it, cleaned it up, and kept it warm inside, but the runeboo didn't want to move around much and spent most of the day curled up in the basket Nyani had given it to sleep in. Nyani was worried about it, and knew they would have to take the boo to a vet to check up on. A week after finding the boo, Nyani plopped down in front of it. "I think you're sick." They told the runeboo quietly. They felt a bit sick to the stomach, not able to stand the thought of something happening to the sweet boo. They could barely even look at the boo as they continued "I'm going to bring you to a vet..." That is when Nyani glanced up at the boo. They did a double take... four small shaped were curled up beside the boo. "Y- You were- you had babies?!" Nyani leaned in to look at the tiny runebabes. "You were just pregnant this whole time huh?" They said, holding their paw out to the tiny boos who were now looking at them.

Delilah's boo Ghost is often outside with him. Ghost is able to wander off without Delilah minding much and at some point Ghost encountered the runeboo that Nyani found. The runeboo was at the time wild, and mated with Ghost. Nyani later found them, pregnant while Ghost was long gone back with Delilah, who knows nothing of the litter. The pregnant boo had bad luck and ran into trouble trying to stay fed in the wild and was in pretty bad condition when Nyani found them. Nyani did not notice that they were pregnant because they were very protective of their belly and kept it out of sight, curling up as much as they could whether awake or asleep. Nyani thought the boo was sick because she wasn't very active and was spending a lot more time resting than a boo normally would.
Nyani is now going to work with Kalypso to rehome the babies and will be keeping their mom. (I have already chosen the users they will be going to.)
