it is certainly beautiful to look at -- i wonder if you moved a little to the right or left you would have gotten a more inteteresting images in the reflection of the waterdrop? that's something to pay attention to when shooting thinks like this. its a beautiful compostion but im not sure how i feel about how graphic it is. you have lost a lot of detail in the extreme blacks and whites of the image. there isnt much detail in the highlights of the petals and the dark centers are completely blocked up as well as the ground. almost half of the image is a dark triange. perhaps that aids in making it evoke that cold feeling -- but i'ld also like to see a less contrasty version showing more tones.

I absolutely adore the photo. Don't change anything about it. My issue lies in the border. It feels too big and chunky for the rest of the piece. Maybe reduce it all around EXCEPT the bottom. It'll still have some weight, but won't overpower it.
