Description
Your eyes slowly blink open as your consciousness returns to you. You stir, but find yourself unable to move. Your limbs are restrained to the table you lie on. Your vision is much fuzzier, as if you were looking through a pair of glasses that didn’t belong to you, and your memory is much of the same. You can’t recall what exactly lead up to you lying on this cold steel table in this dank, mold-choked room. Opening your mouth to speak you find you’re unable to form words properly, your tongue, teeth, and lips not contenting in the right way, and only unintelligible grunts slipped from your mouth. In fact, your whole mouth felt different, the internal structure no longer the same! What on earth happened? Across the room you hear the squeak of a chair, and a strangely familiar musical set of footsteps. A frightening visage flashes overhead, that of a man, a poodle, face caked in sparkly makeup, and bouncy long hair. He seemed especially feverish and jittery.
“You’re awake!” He barked.
“You should have told me,” a smug raise of his eyebrow and sudden low tone suggested he was aware of your inability to speak, “Now hold on a second...” he crouched out of sight and began rummaging for something. A brief moment later he loomed over you once more, now holding a mirror.
He slowly hovered it close to your face, hands shaking, “I kept my promise!...I’ve made you beautiful!”
