Lucious joined the UNSC after he found out about the Glassing of his Homeworld Draco III, he had been off-world for a business trip and had become obsessed with trying to find his wife who had been in Exorbian, one of the few places Glassed by the Covenant during their invasion.

Giving up on his search and having nowhere left to go he enlisted into the UNSC Marine Corp. fighting at, Bounty, Reynes, Ruthersburg, and many more, until the battle of reach.

Lucious found his way to reach on the UNSC "Say what again" fighting in the battle at Szurdok ridge. then, after the Paris class frigate "Grafton" was destroyed he was shipped to New New Hampshire to help Evacuate civilians. he and his small fireteam consisting of SGTM Dyatlov, PFC Lawrence, and LCPL Chernov managed to evacuate a small amount of Civilians, before being ambushed by a Squad of Zealots, who SGTM Dyaltlov had written off as a "mere squad of Grunts and jackals" before being stabbed in the heart by the Zealot Squad leader. The rest of the squad managed to take out one of the Zealots before being cut down, CPL Lucious was the last man standing. hiding behind a crate of the new MA5B assault rifles, preparing for his final stand when Spartan Soucy arrived in New New Hampshire, cutting down the last two zealots with little trouble. being the last members of both of their respective fireteams, they decided it would be safer to partner up and make their way to new Alexandria.
