Walking with Dinosaurs Movie seen... and just meh. Without dialogues it could be a cool documentary, but... it's a pity.Anyway... why are dinosaurs movies always about journeys and migrations? The result: Aladar (from Disney's Dinosaur), Little Foot (from The Land Before Time), Patchi (from Walking with Dinosaurs) and the edmontosaurs from March of the Dinosaurs converge in the middle of nowhere.

Desconozco como fue el trabajo de doblaje en España, pero acá en Latinoamérica me fue muy dificil de tragar.
Creeme que el primer encuentro del personaje humano con el cuervo era una escena muy poderosa sin ninguna línea de diálogo, aunque claro nosotros sabríamos muy bien lo que pasaba y el resto de la audiencia,no.
¿ Cómo reaccionó el público cuando la viste? Muchos adultos y niños cayeron en la trampa del chiste facil ? Mis sobrinos pequeños si se asustaron un poco.

El doblaje aquí no es malo (son dobladores reconocidos con muchos proyectos acumulados a sus espaldas) salvo la excepción del Alexornis, que era bastante malo (no sé quién lo habrá doblado). Pero efectivamente, todo habría quedado mucho más bonito, poderoso e impactante sin diálogos, y sin las interrupciones de "Fulanitosaurus, significa lagarto de Fulanito, herbívoro"...
No había mucho gente en el cine, así que en general el público no reaccionó

Sí, aquí también hay tradición en la actuación de voz. Pero el personaje del Alexornis quizá está mal escrito desde el principio.
Tal vez el momento más duro de todas esas partes es cuando se burlan de los brazos del Gorgosaurus.

Answer: Fossils tell a story, thus, everyone's got a story to tell that surrounds their journey of life.
That's my answer anyway, but I do agree with you on the film. It could've been done without a lot of poop jokes as well. Those were over done.

My personal theory is that migrations and journeys are the biggest stories you can get out of animals that are prehistoric. It worked for March of the Dinosaurs because they were treated more or less as animals, and it would have worked for WWD3D if they avoided adding in the dialogue.

"The carnivores" give "the main herbivore characters plus other main characters" and both "the audiences and viewers" something to fear. Like unto some "frightful thing" from "a fevered dream", if you know what I mean.

Yep, that's a good question too. The main characters are the herbivores, and theropods are always mean and bloody monsters
