i loved the look of 9 ever since i first saw it. When some friends of mine mentioned there was a 9 contest it peaked my interest, however i was swamped with work and couldn't enter. i still wanted to complete the piece tho. here are a few characters from the unfinished 9 poster.Related content

DUDE! DUUUUUUUUDE! The details on this are SEXY! Especially on their hands. I can't draw stitchpunk hands worth CRAP. Not to mention several like things such as the belts on 1's body and his staff really make this pic stand out. Simply GORGEOUS! You did a truly FANTASTIC job here, and I hope we get to see more fanart from you.

...This is so gorgeous I don't even. The detail, the line style, the color, the poses, the TEXTURE. OMAI, PERSON, YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND.
This almost reminds me of Tetsuya Nomura's art (the guy who draws all of the Kingdom Hearts boxart, character designs, etc), and it also reminds me of the scene during Advent Children when Marlene is explaining the events of FFVII while everyone's jumping into battle. APOLOGIES if you've no idea what I speak of, but, just...argh. So beautiful.

The angle of the opics catches my attention instantly (as i hope it does for others)
along with various other small details throughout the piece including the texture of the fabric

OMG!!!! THIS LOOKS SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! I INSTANTLY FAVED THIS AS SOON AS I SAW IT. You draw them so well. it looks like it was actually from the movie as like, concept are. 7 is so bad ass jumping over everyone's head. 1's all like "destroy the machine!" 8's all like "I'll break you." 7's all like "You're all gonna die!"
