HAHA! clay modelling !! GREAT!, I've done this too!, it can get frustrating sometimes. By the way, that place looks really CLEAN, where I did it there was always a huge friggin' mess.
Also that one is HUGE! I'de only seen 1:5 and 1:4 scale.
...well and 1:1 scale, but those don't count

Done a car model before.. not sure on the scaling but it was about 30 cms long.
Requires dedication and patience, thats for sure.
