Old - portrait I did back in August 16, 2010. Moving this over from an alternate account I'm deactivating since I haven't really touched it since like, 2010. This is probably my favorite drawing I did from this account.

I did a number of these Super Mario portraits. Trying to render a very cartoony-like character in realistic lighting. Once Friendship is Magic came around, I basically took that same technique and started applying it to ponies, which are infinitely more fun since they're completely 2D - I can completely make up the lighting on my own
