Big spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't been on the up and up with last year's season nine of MLP, though I can't imagine anyone who isn't actually finding this. One of the most memorable recurring lines from Spike was "Future Spike's problem". Well, if you watched the MLP:FiM finale, you'd know that the finale was an epilogue to the show's timeline in which we got Future Spike. My buddy Cornonjacob and I were stunned at how the show runners basically made Spike a Chad from those memes. Design-wise, Spike looks good, but the similarity in body types is just too uncanny. So, we shared a laugh about it and I got this idea in my head. That was at least nine months ago, and weird things happen when ideas ferment in your head for nine months.

Moral of the story: don't put out your problems for so long that your ultra-buff future self has an existential crisis.
