Esme, Jasper and I fanfic 18/03/2014
One day I 'm washing my dishes, as I always do - I do not want to give work to Esme - when I cut my hand a little with knife . Before I could have noticed what happened Jasper comes from the room and is advancing on me.
Unfortunately, I think, we're just two of us at home. I was always afraid of Jasper - even without seeing his famous scars that keep the other vampires cautious- it was something inexplicable , but now I understand .
I will not even ask what is happening , because it is implied. I see in my hand, white soap becomes pink and then red because of my blood.
Jasper takes my hand and quickly plunges his teeth into my palm. I could have screamed , but I am so stunned and frightened that I can not find my voice. I can only think ' Esme ' I do not know if she'll listen.
In this instant, she and Alice, Carlisle and Emmett come home from hunting. Before anything Esme take Jasper away from me - i have never seen her so, determined, angry, she is more strong than him. Well, maybe because she is younger than him.
Alice, her father and brother lead Jasper out . Carlisle instructs his wife :
- Esme , you know what to do! I'll be back as soon as our son is well .
I'm in a state of shock, and my head is burning . I try to scream but no sound comes out of my mouth . Until finally I collapse on the floor, unconscious .
Esme kneels besides me and she bit me where Jasper too. I thought she was biting me but she is sucking . I can feel my blood going out and I getting weaker.
Carlisle returns and so sees me says:
- Very well, darling . Now leave her.
Esme still a bit reluctant , I can see death approaching. Once Esme look into my eyes and see I 'm almost dying and she suddenly leave my arm.
Carlisle checks my injuries, so I lose consciousness and faint on the kitchen floor... I awake in Carlisle's office, in stretcher.
