We would like to present to you our newest piece which is a hand carved viking shield made of top quality oak. It features detailed patterns and knotwork around the edge of theshield all made by hand using traditional methods.

The shield being made of oak is quite heavy to wield in combat however we think a piece like this should be more of a mantelpiece hanging on the wall in your living room alongsidea statue of Odin or carried by a Jarl as a status symbol rather than chipped at by an axe of an unworthy opponent.

The shield had been oiled to bring out the nice dark shade and accentuate the patterns of the wood.
