FULL VIEW RECOMMENDED!(Sarcophaga carnaria)
Okay... crappy light and hand held... BUT.... my first posting with my new Camera!!!
I think I am gonna love my Tamron f2.8 90mm macro

Wonderful focusing; I know how hard it can be to focus correctly on these small thingies. The amount of detail in its paws and eyes is really impressive! Besides, the background is one of the bests I've seen, in terms of fitting a macro's subject. Nice one

I love it, the light's not bad at all, its nice and calm. And wow what a bokeh, I've got to get that lens.

Beautiful! I took a picture of one of those not long ago, but yours is a lot better Focus is right where it should be, and the colors are just beautiful. Good work!

Nice - I have read good things about that camera and it was on my shortlist... I am just a Nikon fan at heart tho so I really had to stay Nikon

well i have had classical Nikon in my hands 16 yrs ago and it was a great camera. only i think it's too expensive, that's why i turned to others. and i had two olympus cameras before - classical idiot camera mjuII and the digital one i still have C-5000, which were both great in their class. i was also looking at new sony which seemed cheap for what it offers, but then again...canon fell out of option when i read about this olymous an live preview thing.

This photo is so awesome. The incredibly shallow depth of field is so great. The detail is exquisite. The fact that there is blur in both the foreground and the back ground just totally works.
This is SO good.
