Ahem.. anyways!
Collaboration picture with *Kycha in OpenCanvas. The whole thing took about... uhm... god... seven hours? There were breaks for going AFK and such in that span, but still, over seven hours.
My Mephiles and her Shadow are ever so much fun together. (3 We need to play them more~
They're either fighting to discover who's superior or.... they're bestestestest friends and they're banding together to do something awesome! Like skip through a field of flowers hand in hand. *KILLED*

Well, Ky doesn't draw them that way. I'm used to drawing them a little more anthro-ish. Mephiles' neck is hidden behind his hunched shoulder and his chest fluff. I'm not used to drawing them in regular canonical Sonic Style proportions. As you've just proven, there's a reason they're not drawn having actual necks with their usual proportions. If it's disgused the right/wrong way, they look like Rayains.

That's impressive guys. Like, reallyreally. The two styles mesh -really- well here. And the poses just... gah, they create this lovely smooth line of movement so that my eye travels this repeated path. Eyes, Shadow's smirk, hands, wristbands, curve of Mephiles' closest leg, right down to the rings and the shoes.
Yes. Like I said, it keeps getting repeated too. (3
Total kudos on how this one came out. The shiny-bits all around make me just... happy. <3

Well, I was learning the style of colouring from Kycha as I was working, too. =3 So that helps with the meshing a little bit as well. The line of movement wasn't purposeful though. XD Just that we were trying to make them stand basically the same? Sorta? But I guess it does kind of have a flow ... ha! Awesome side effect. |D

Yup, it was! Though Kycha added the extra glow from the floor in PS afterwards. But everything else was done entirely in oC 1.1. <3

Man, I need to pay attention to these type of programs more closely...
But back on topic, I love the overall composition of this piece, especially the coloring with the glowing effect at their feet. Kinda looks like some hell is about to break loose.

OpenCanvas 1.1/1.2 has a networking and chat feature, yes. To allow paintchat style collabs and such. =3 It got taken out in the later versions of it, though.
