Description

Today while browsing DA I found the perfect base for my character Aeoloni. It had the head-wings and everything. Since I found the base I decided to give her a little TLC and this is her updated ref. I've made a few minor adjustments to her design (including all the lovely leg floof), but nothing too extreme.

Some of the key points of her design:

Arabian x Saddlebred build with moderate feathering on her legs.

Light grey base coat with a pearlescent sheen that reflects soft purples and golds.

Purple on her legs and eartips.

Purple markings around her eyes similar in appearance to eyeshadow. She also has an eyeliner marking similar to a cat's eye design.

Long flowing white and silver mane and tail with golden strands throughout.

Powerful yet slender wings that are white with purple tips. They also have golden strands throughout that sometimes seem to sparkle in bright light.

A long curved pearlescent horn that she can make glow.

Brilliant blue eyes that seem to glow when she's happy, and get darker when she's upset.

She always wears a warm amethyst surrounded in intricate gold weaving at the base of her horn that her mate made her.

She often wears a soft lavender scarf-like item made of sheer material that drapes from her neck or over her shoulder from a delicately woven gold cord.

The cloth doubles as a bag of holding, and allows her to carry everything she needs with her.

Aeoloni typically wears some kind of jewelry, usually pearls or golden beads.
