I think Ashfur was actually killed by a bite to the throat, because slashing with claws would be too obvious. It was also mentioned when they were inspecting and cleaning his body.

To me Ashfur earned it. He tried to attack her and she was defending herself. But I hate the Erins for this. Ashfur could of moved on (AshxWhitewing), he should had been allowed too since he's a good cat, he was so much like Whitestorm. I say that Ashfur is Dovewing and Ivypool's dad (and Whitewing's real mate)...Um I know you probably don't take requests but sometime can you do a pic for Birchfall and Applefur? I don't think you drawn Applefur yet, but they are my favorite couple (and I think they do love each other...both were in the Dark Forest after all), Whitewing could of used the kits (since Ashfur disregarded her in his longing for Squirrelflight) were Birchfall's which would hide his secret of meeting with Applefur...a good plot I would say.

Actually, Hollyleaf attacked Ashfur. I know that Brambleclaw covered for her in The Forgotten Warrior, but that wasn't the true story.

who knows, truly it can go either way with these two but Ashfur really just got karma delivered (did he not try killing them in Long Shadows?). It's sad with Hollyleaf though...she's not the same cat really in The Forgotten Warrior
