Mapleshade's mate spazzes at her after she accidentally drops her kits in the river.I made her mate resemble Crookedstar...one more reason why Mapleshade targeted him.

I dont agree. Mapleshade dropped the kits because the current was ripping her away in the river. she fell in first but the kitten fell in after. it says so in the crookedstars promise.
