Nightcloud been through a lot, too. I have a feeling that she may have had feelings for Crowfeather before any of the crap that happened. She was the one who agreed to become his mate after he betrayed his clan, probably because she truly loved him.

How would she have known that he was a descendant of Wind and Gorsestar? Even so, would it have really mattered? Last time I checked, the cats don't really look that far back into their ancestors when judging a character.

Nightcloud's "status" didn't really change after taking Crowfeather as a mate. Atleast...I didn't really notice any changes, so how could she have used him?

She's protective of Crowfeather because she's scared that she'll lose him. Once again, I believe that she loved him very early on and she's just scaredΒ to lose him after finally being able to be with him.

I gotta say thatΒ lie isnt really a "trap", I undrstand how your using the word, but i dont rember croweather ever syaing he loved nightcloud maybe i missed it or somthing, but i do remeber him still admitting that the still love leafpool.
And crowfeather never really showed feelings for nightcloud, so if anything she should have moved on she is a bright she-cat she could have gotten a better mate, and maybe breezeplet wouldnt have ended up so twisted.
I love crowfeather, And nightcloud im neutral abour her.

Thats wrong, leafpool decided to go back to her clan (bagder attack), they split of cause of that it was never crowfeather's falutΒ and he never stopped loving her there was always a small affection when ever they saw each other/ even after the attack.Crowfeathers rude at time but he just hides his emtions.
