Sandstorm bristled. "Who are you?""You should know who I am," the cat hissed. "ThunderClan destroyed my life!"
Sandstorm frowned. "What's your name?"
The Dark Forest cat stepped out of the shadows. "My name's Mapleshade!" With a hiss, she sprang. She landed on Sandstorm and pushed her muzzle into the earth.
"I'm going to make you pay for every blessing StarClan gave you!" Mapleshade growled in Sandstorm's ear. "And every blessing they stole from me!"
"You have everything I wanted, Sandstorm! A mate that loved me, kits that I could watch grow up and have kits of my own, the respect of my Clanmates! I should have had that!"

I feel like Mapleshade didn't do anything wrong, well in her mind all she did was avenge her kits' deaths; except murder spree everyone. But on one day, she lost her kits, lost her mate, got exiled, and then found out her mate was two-timing her with someone else, and then said she was a mistake. No wonder she went insane.

geez, it seems like the majority of the fandom hates developed characters and developed couples and worships faceless mary-sues and dumb ships.

like i have no problem with what you might think about ships or characters, but the indirect attack you're making on the people who do like particular things is sort of rubbing me the wrong way

sorry, it's just that... I feel it's kind of weird how many people seem to like characters that- to me, at least- seem to have no character, while the ones who have actually flaws and good personalities are just thrown away. I guess it's because I have a different opinion, or because I'e never been a Spottedleaf lover.

In my own opinion, I think Mapleshade deserved to go to Starclan (but she didn't). Why the heck did she go to the Dark Forrest? She just wanted to have a loving mate, watch her own kits grow, have a loving family, and PEACE. Stupid tattle tail Ravenwing....

(SPOILER ALERT)
Mapleshade became mates with Appledusk from Riverclan, while she was in Thunderclan.
Eventually Ravenwing, the current medicine cat, found out the truth (This was a little while after she had her kits, Larchkit, Patchkit, and Petalkit)
He tells Oakstar, the Thunderclan leader. He banishes Mapleshade and her 3 kits.
Mapleshade then tries to cross the river to Riverclan, with her 3 kits drowning in the process.
Appledusk blames it all on her, and Riverclan rejects her too.
Mapleshade sees Ravenwing going to the Moonpool (for the half moon) and murders him when he enters.
Later, Mapleshade lures Frecklewish into an adder trap, because she saw her kits die and didn't do anything. Because there was no Thunderclan med cat, she died from poison.
Then she gets in a battle with Appledusk, and murders him. But then Perchpaw, Appledusk's mentor, gives her a bad wound that later kills her. Reedshine, who is expecting Appledusk's kits, says that he will live on in Riverclan forever. Mapleshade goes to some abandoned twoleg thing and dies there from the wound. She wakes up in the dark forest.
That's a big summary of her story for ya

Let me correct you, she just pinned him and yell at him, while he didn't want to fight her, then Reedshine come and argue with Mapleshade, then Mapleshade full of hate jump on Reedshine for kill her and Appledusk go infront of his mate and take the hit for save her, then he die. Mapleshade, shocked was not able to do anything and Perchpaw attacked her, givin her a deadly wound.
Im tired of people sayin that she killed Appledusk in purpose while it was a sacrifice from Appledusk for save his mate...

yes, but better fix it, because many people still believe Mapleshade is innocent et Appledusk is evil and should have been in the dark forest

mapleshade is not innocent, no, but i do think appledusk got little to no punishment for something that was as much of his fault as it was mapleshade's fault. he was in the relationship too, yet he got off scott-free with a new mate and everything. he was practically rewarded for it, while mapleshade was thrown away to rot. so no, mapleshade isn't innocent and appledusk isn't evil, but he wasn't punished hardly at all, and mapleshade was thrown out of (technically) two clans for the same mistake appledusk made.

I do agree with Appledusk not bein innocente, but the difference ( and why Darkstar was more open minded than Oakstar ) is he opened his eyes and understand this relation was not good for both of them.
But for me, the real asshole of the story is not Mapleshade of Appledusk, it's Oakstar who banned innocente kitten

I sorta wish that Sandstorm died. I mean first of all, if she died, Spottedleaf wouldn't have disappeared. And either way, if Sandstorm did die, she would go to Starclan, thusfore, Firestar goes there. AND HAPPILY EVER AFTER! ALL 3 OF THEM ARE IN STARCLAN, AND MY TRIO SHIPMENT IS COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!! :3 I ship Firestar x Spottedleaf and Lionblaze x Icecloud, cause I can ship whomever I like. My body, my mind, my eyes, my ships. Not yours? Oh else! I'M AN ALBATRAOZ!

What the...? first of all, Spottedleaf is a MEDICINE CAT. Their code strictly tells them mateship is forbbiden.
And Firestar even started crushing on Sandstorm while Spottedleaf was outthere dying due to a Shadowclan warrior.
Firestar is a leader, he would never break the code to have a mate. If Sandstorm and Firestar were not mates, Lionblaze and the others would not exist, no cat would be there to save the clans, and no, Spottedleaf's kits being part of the prophecy will never be valid. Spottedleaf was like, older than Darkstripe by the time Firestar had joined in wich he had six moons. And you know Darkstripe's age by the time? he had 20 straight moons.
There you got it.
