Sandstorm bristled. "Who are you?""You should know who I am," the cat hissed. "ThunderClan destroyed my life!"
Sandstorm frowned. "What's your name?"
The Dark Forest cat stepped out of the shadows. "My name's Mapleshade!" With a hiss, she sprang. She landed on Sandstorm and pushed her muzzle into the earth.
"I'm going to make you pay for every blessing StarClan gave you!" Mapleshade growled in Sandstorm's ear. "And every blessing they stole from me!"
"You have everything I wanted, Sandstorm! A mate that loved me, kits that I could watch grow up and have kits of my own, the respect of my Clanmates! I should have had that!"

a whole bunch of other cats have to choose when they die too it wasnt a huge thing just because it was firestar
i just thought sandfire was SO forced like every cat he could have had an interest in had to be pushed away for the cat that treated him the worst out of the whole clan
i guess the erins knew he was going to choose spottedleaf or something so they killed her but i found the whole die after death thing pointless
i dont know i really hate sandstorm tbh she had no character after firestar saved her like her spark was gone

Now that I think about it, you're right. She only suffers from jealousy about Spottedleaf. What right did she have to complain in Firestar's Quest? Firestar's already her mate and he loves her, but she selfishly asked, "I know you love me, Firestar, but is it enough? Do you wish Firestar were here?" It was selfish. He LOVES her! He's MATES with her! Sandstorm should be grateful for what she has, not butt into Firestar's business about Spottedleaf! Spottedleaf even told us in "Spottedleaf's Honest Answer" that he tried to tell her that he must move on from a memory!
Sandstorm's a little selfish when it comes to Spottedleaf. I just don't like her because of that reason.

May I ask why you like Ashfur? Don't worry, I'm not one of those people who are gonna be all like "NU YOU SIMPLY MUST LOVE ASHFUR BECAUSE SQUIRRELFLIGHT DUMPED HIM!!!!"
Sandstorm to me, well, while I may not like her, she's more loyal to Ashfur. I'll explain why I don't like him myself, but I'm pretty sure you already know.
I mean, first of all, Squirrelflight and Ashfur weren't even together in the first place. Squirrelflight even offered to stay as friends, and he rejected that just because he was angry at her. And I think Squirrelflight snapping at him when Brambleclaw got Ashfur on more than one patrol made him snap for good...?
Then he tried to kill four cats, Firestar, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, and Lionblaze. Yellowfang's excuse to go to StarClan was "He loved too much".
And I don't see how trying to murder cats is okay. Ashfur was simply obsessed with Squirrelflight, not in love. If he truly loved Squirrelflight, he would have been happy, just like Thrustpelt!
Again, I'm not trying to force you to dislike him, it's just my opinion on why I dislike him so much. Strongly, to be honest.

Its a long story, why I like him. Just to put it in short, for some reason I think some of the "evil" cats deserve another chance. Sure, Ash overreacted, but if you gave him another chance, think of what would happen. I believe he would probably learn from his mistakes. Hollyleaf did have a good reason to kill Ashfur... otherwise, plenty of things would have happened, and they wouldn't be in Hollyleaf's favor...

I can understand that. I mean, he was loyal before until Squirrelflight told him she only wanted to be friends with him, nothing more. He seemed pretty calm in StarClan- I wonder if the Erins would make a point of view for him as an ebook? I mean, he became popular ever since the whole Power of Three thing.
I think cats like Thistleclaw also deserves to stay in StarClan with Snowfur, freaking Bluestar just had to kick him out. I believe Thistleclaw truly does love Snowfur. Bluestar should have stayed out of their business, man. I love Bluestar, but what she did with the whole Snowfur and Thistleclaw thing was unnecessary.
But I seriously hope the Erins won't make any more reincarnations like they did with Cinderheart. Vicky said she only reincarnated her because Cinderpelt was her favorite or something, which isn't a good excuse. I find that unfair compared to others- she just didn't get what she wanted. I mean, what about Spottedleaf? She didn't get the same thing, but yet she still stays dead..?

Yeah. Thats really the ONLY reason why I don't like Bluestar. Well, she IS my second favorite, but that is the only thing I don't like about her. She was also slightly overprotective of Whitekit, but I don't blame her. I mean, if you lost the rest of your family then why not want to hold on to the only bit of family you have left?
The warriors novels are rather interesting, but they CAN stir hatred. Bluestar is a very interesting character, thats one thing I like about her, but when she goes kind crazy, I was annoyed. Bluestar's Prophecy IS my favorite book in the Warrior's series.
And the Erins DID try TOO hard to recreate Silverstream with Milly. I liked her in the mangas, but she turned out to be a total asshole later on, like when Blossomfall and Hollyleaf exited the caves. Gawd Milly. She's your damn daughter, Milly.

What's with all the hate on Sandstorm? She's one of my favourite characters ;-; Instead of only being Firestar's mate, or falling instantly in love with him in the beginning, she actually has a character of her own. She's spunky and smart, and one of the best hunters in the clans. Spottedleaf was always with him in StarClan and such, giving him advice so they had their own special thing. Cinderpelt was also was a close friend to Firestar, but it couldn't have worked out. Neither would it have worked out with Spottedleaf, they're both medicine cats. Sandstorm didn't "take" Firestar away or intentionally cause Spottedleaf or Cinderpelt pain. Firestar chose her too. All she did was love him. <3 Also, I do love both Spottedleaf and Cinderpelt, but Sandstorm doesn't derserve all this hate :C Plus she has an awesome name x3

The reason why I didn't like her so much was because of how rude she was towards Firestar in the beginning. She made fun of him and mocked him just because of where he came from. Yes, I know she was still young, but really, she should've known better. She wouldn't even cut it out when Whitestorm told her to.
She only started warming up to Firestar when he saved her life. She started liking him because he did something for her. Only then was she able to see how "great" he was.
Then she was all overprotective when she found out Spottedleaf came to Firestar's dreams to give him advice.
Of course, you're allowed to have your own opinion and I totally respect that, I'm just letting you know why I dislike her. xD

Well, at least she saw the fault in her ways eventually. The whole clan had prejudice against him, though. Comparing most kittypets to warriors you can see why she made fun of him, but that doesn't make it right.
Well, some times people need life their life saved to realize how much of an idiot they're being. She didn't just like him because of that, she only stopped mocking him. After spending some time with Firestar she began to like him.
Well, if you learned that your mate was seeing she-cat in his dreams where it was perfectly possible for them to.. Erm... Find out if StarClan cats can have kittens.. wouldn't you freak out? She didn't know Spottedleaf was just 'giving advice', if you know what I mean o3o (Sorry, dirty minded creep over here X3)

I suppose so, but it was still rude and immature nonetheless. It was just the way she was acting, all stuck-up and rude, that was what got on my nerves. She even sassed her mentor. ;o She could've acted more like Graypaw and Ravenpaw, a lot of the cats in the clan welcoming. Once Bluestar accepted him, mostly everyone else did. She was just really stubborn about it.
Yes, you're right, but it still irks me to know that she needed Firestar to prove himself by saving her in order to gain her approval.
I remember Firestar explained it to her and told her they weren't seeing eachother for that kind of stuff, but she was still stubborn about it and pissed off. She didn't exactly trust what Firestar was telling her and she should, since he's her mate and mates need to trust eachother and stuff. Spottedleaf needed to explain it to her for a long time before she calmed down. I remember this pretty well because this was when I started disliking Sandstorm; just her overall stubbornness and the way she jumped to conclusions made me dislike her. XD
