Hi I think this is your best image in your gallery the technical features of the genre are well controlled and nice use of figure field croping technique around the head ,its an historical method in oil painting found in goya,rembrandt and bacon.I do like this mix of historical convention and caricature.When I do illustration like this I always start the work by developing a photographic image in photoshop using the transform distortion functions or the warp mesh.Then I paint it in a straight out realist manner.
