I love squirrels. They're cute, full of energy, and you've got to respect an animal that defeats virtually every defense that homeowners use to protect their birdfeeders. This one was in the yard of my apartment building, presumably looking for food; so was I, actually. I spotted him while heading out for salami and other sandwich stuff. I had to wait a minute for him to stop moving long enough to get a decent pic, which you can see above. Very nice-looking animal, I must say.
