Lineart I did today within a few hours. And as usual... Reference used!----this is not for the collab with *emmil because we're going to draw something else!---
And for the record, it's just a work in progress. I know there are mistakes and you definitely shouldn't go hyper on faving this because it's not done yet. Thank you. (:

Now I need your help with something, so please read this!
I'm planning to draw a background but yet I'm not exactly sure what to draw, so... what shall I do?
Do I have to add a single color background?
A detailed background perhaps?
Or add some clouds? And I don't mean friend-of-Zack Clouds, but just like... sky clouds.
Lemme know what your ideas are (:

Hm... Background... background... Why not maybe some wutai background...? Which is pretty much like a rice patty feild of whatever they're called. Wutai's fields = Korea's fields. I swear there is a resemblance.
Or maybe you could do Nibelheim in flames? Or the Shinra Manor?
I dunno. I'm just listing off some things. You could do a snowy background, because he gets to venture into the northern continent.

Yeah, its like really good! I think you should either put something detailed in or clouds. I really don't care much for just plain backgrounds, but that is my opinion. I love how you do their hair!

As for the background, I would suggest clouds? I know how hard a detailed background can be. Though I'd love to see one, I'd be happy with clouds. That way it would be symbolic

I think it all depends on the mood you want to create. Like if you want it to be a calm, soft mood, I would go with the clouds. But if you wanted an intense kick-butt scene, I would do something like fire.

For a background suggestion....how about the cliffs with shinra soldiers on them? Like he just laid cloud down and is turning to face his fate? A little complicated maybe but it would look amazing.

Background? I know it might be difficult, but maybe him leaving/entering Midgar? I think him at the exit would fit the picture best, though, because the mood seems more serious than what could have been a happy scene with him finally coming back, you know?

Cliche perhaps but lifestream would be interesting to see. Especially if you adjusted the lighting on Zack to work with it, as well as the gradations you'd have to use to produce the lifestream in just pencil. Would be a challenge and probably make for quite an interesting image to look at!

You know when you look at puffy clouds...sometimes you see pictures? Well for your background...maybe you should make clouds that represent something...I am not sure myself BUT YOU ARE AMAZING AND CAN DO SOMETHING. Just an idea because heh...I am just one of the many people who want to help you :].

Background... He seems pretty serious in this one, so something dark maybe? Midgar sounds cool if you're willing to do something all uber complicated... but maybe just some dark stormy clouds or something.

Maybe a classic sky, and horizon background. I think it would look cool. Maybe some other character off in the distance, sorta not completely distinguished, but you can tell who it is. ^^

The banora trees or maybe some feathers floating down in the air? He looks a little thoughtful so I thought the feathers might be a good idea. Because he gets that kind of look when things go wrong and he's sad about Angeal and everything.
